Before Applying NeoBenz Micro Cream or NeoBenz Micro SD:

  • Use a mild, non-detergent cleanser (such as NeoBenz Micro Wash), to gently clean your face in the morning, evening, and after heavy exercise. Cleansing more often than this will not help and can make acne worse.1
  • Don't scrub your face and don't use drying products (like astringents) since these can hurt the surface of the skin and make it more vulnerable to acne.1
  • Don't pinch, pick, squeeze, or rub acne, as these actions also hurt the skin surface and may cause scarring.
  • Shave carefully to avoid nicking blemishes.1

Applying NeoBenz Micro Cream:

  1. If applying to the entire face, apply a pea-sized amount of NeoBenz Micro to one fingertip and dab onto cheeks, forehead and chin.
  2. Spread evenly into entire face.

Applying NeoBenz Micro SD:

  1. Firmly squeeze pre-filled sponge applicator until seal between applicator and sponge has broken.
  2. Apply medication by rubbing sponge in small circular motions on affected areas.
  3. Dispose of each applicator after single use only.

Handle with care: benzoyl peroxide medications can bleach colored fabrics.

After Applying NeoBenz Micro Cream or NeoBenz Micro SD

  • Avoid the sun, and always apply a sunscreen when using NeoBenz Micro during the day.3
  • If you experience skin irritation, reduce the amount of medication you use, or skip a day. If irritation persists, speak with your doctor.
  • Only use cosmetics (e.g. moisturizers, makeup base) that are labeled "non-comedogenic," as these are made to prevent formation of closed pores that lead to acne. Moisturizers can relieve dry or irritated skin.3

What to Expect When Using NeoBenz Micro Cream or NeoBenz Micro SD

Set realistic expectations - give NeoBenz Micro time to work for you, since no acne medication works right away. While you may see results more quickly, most people see improvement by the third week and maximum improvement after 8-12 weeks of treatment.2
